I have come to realize that many people don’t know how to use free browsing on their computers/laptops and Android smart phones so they can browse unlimited on the internet. As a result of this they face the horrible charges that our dear network providers are charging while browsing the internet. That’s why I decided to put on this detailed tutorial on Unlimited free browsing on Computers/Laptops and Android Phones with MTN/ Etisalat.

Read carefully and Follow the exact steps. I will be writing in two sections, that is how to browse for free on computers and laptops and how to browse for free on Android Phones.

How to setup unlimited free browsing on Computers/Laptops with Etisalat or MTN

Things you will need:

• Download JRE 1.7 or Higher and install (that is if you don’t have it already): Download Java 32bit here. It doesn’t matter if you are using 64bit.

• Betamint Proxy/VPN Software (for MTN):  Downloand latest version here

• Betaslat Proxy/VPN Software (for Etisalat):Download latest version here

• Download OpenVPN and Install (Download 32bit Or 64bit depending on your Operating System): Download 32bit here, Download 64bit here

• Account on TweakwareVPN: register here

Now extract the Betamint or Betaslat you downloaded on your desktop

Launch the Betamint or Betaslat, you should see something like this

Put in your TweakwareVPN Username and Password at the appropriate place

At the left side of the software, look for were there is radio button labeled “Enable VPN” and tick it

For MTN, subscribe to any MTN BlackBerry subscriptions (dial #216*3*1# for DAILY MTN BBLITED cost #70 or dial #216# for other subscriptions).

For Etisalat, subscribe to any Etisalat social media pack or chat pack, check codes blow:

#150 (For Weekly Chat Pack): Code *343*5*6# or
#300 (For Weekly Social Media Pack recommended): Code *343*6*8# or
#500 (For Monthly Social Media Pack): Code *343*6*11# NB: {SIM must be on Easy-Cliq; *244 *1# to migrate to Easy-Cliq}

Connect and configure your modem using the default settings. Once all these is done, click the “start betamint” or “start betaslat” button on the software

Go to your Browser and configure it to use no proxy. For Mozilla Firefox, Press alt on your keyboard so you can see the menu list and go to Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>Network>>Settings then tick the “No Proxy”.  For Chrome go to the menu button located at the top left corner, select settings scroll down and click “show advanced settings” scroll down again you should see “Network” under it is “Change Proxy Settings” click on it.

A window will popup, look for where it says “settings” click on it and select “Automatically detect Settings” then press “Ok” and “Ok” to apply. Now you should be able to browse the internet for free unlimited

Note: If you did not tick the “Enable VPN” in the software maybe you don’t want to hide your location because what we did now will change your location to another country which you can change by going to the software and look for where it says IP Location, click the drop down menu and select any country of your choice but Nigeria is not there. So to change your location to Nigeria, Uncheck the “VPN” now go to your browser to configure it with proxy 127.0.0.1 and port 8080.

If you followed the steps above correctly, you computer or laptop will be the one begging you to stop! Stop!! Stop!!! :)

How to setup unlimited free browsing on Android phone with Etisalat or MTN

Here I will show you how to configure etisalat free browsing and MTN free browsing.

Download TweakwareVPN for Android phone and install

Download from Playstore Here

Download from the Direct link here

After Downloading and Installing make sure you subscribe to any network of your choice using the codes above then open the Tweakware go to settings>>My Account and put in your TweakwareVPN account Username and Password.

Go to Settings>>Bundled Settings you will see 2 things tick “Use Bundled Setting” then Go to Bundled Settings list and select  "CHAT PACK 1" for chat pack subscriptions or select "SOCIAL ME 1" for the social media subscription for MTN select "MTN-BIS-1"

Go and enable you mobile data and hit connect  then wait until it says “connected” with the red icon turning to green.

Go and browse, watch YouTube videos download music, videos  and anything else you want to do with the internet. Make sure you don’t go to work late while browsing to avoid being sack :)

Note that you will enjoy this the most when you upgrade you account to premium with #500 monthly if not you will be limited to 100mb daily.
