How Do You Take Screenshot In Windows 10 OS?
Some people who acquired the new windows 10 Operating System find it difficult to take screenshots with their PC.There are many different ways to take screenshot in windows 10. I have gone through all the process and I decided to share these two simple methods.
First Method: How to take a screenshot in window 10 OS using the Snipping Tool
Snipping Tool is one of the cool features of windows 10 Operating System that makes it cool. I enjoy using this tool to take screen shots in my window 10 because it is easy to use and you can decide which part of the screen you want to record, you can decide to take full screenshot or take screenshot of specific area.
To take a screenshot with Snipping Tool, do the following:
- Press the windows logo and type “Snipping tool”
- Hit enter and you should see a window popup like the one below
![]() |
| Screenshot taken with Snipping Tool |
- Now you can see many options to go with. Open the drop down button next to new button and choose how to take your screen shot.
- Use the pointer to select the area you want to record or select full screen and you will have your screen recorded.
- Then you will see another popup window with the screenshot you took
- Edit the picture if you have some parts that you don’t want there and save.
Second Method: How to take screen shot in windows 10 OS Using “Prt Scn”
I only use this method when I’m working with MS Word, Corel Draw etc because when you take screenshot with this method it those not notify you to save it as an image rather it only dims and copy it to the clipboard.
To take a screen shot in windows 10 OS Using “Prt Scn” do the following:
- Open the window you want to record
- Now in your keyboard look for the key labeled “prt scrn” and press with windows logo
- Press the key and your screen will dim and you will have it copied to the clipboard.
- Now, you can go to any where you want to use this image such as MS Word, Corel Draw etc and press Ctrl+v to past the image.
